The University of Idaho Pedology Laboratory serves as the repository for all published soil surveys in Idaho. The following is a list of the completed surveys that are available and a list of completed Historic CD's available. These can be acquired by calling 208.885.7554 or 208.885.7012 or emailing afalen@uidaho.edu or pmcdaniel@uidaho.edu. Surveys can be mailed for the postal fees or picked up at the Agriculture Science Building room 145. Soil surveys are a very useful publication for city and county planners, homeowners, builders, teachers and researchers. USA soil survey status information can be accessed from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) internet site: Published Online Idaho Soil Surveys.
